Rev Jean Flood on Rice Lane

Walton Lib Dems Demand Safer Streets!

Install more railings on Rice Lane!

After speaking to residents, your local Lib Dem have launched a petition to try and make a busy street safer.

Karen Afford and Reverend Jean Flood are fighting for railing on Rice Lane to match the ones on the other side of the road, from the crossing opposite Stalmine Road until they meet the existing railings.

SIGN THE PETITION TODAY!

Make our street safer: Install more railings on Rice Lane

I/We, the undersigned request that council installs railings on Rice Lane from the crossing opposite Stalmine Road until they meet the existing railings. There does not seem to be any logic to have them on one side and not the other. This will give a degree of protection to pedestrians in the event of an accident.
