Save our Local Pharmacies
Eight pharmacies close every week in the UK. In Liverpool, we've lost 32 pharmacies since June 2016 but 15 of them have in the last year.
Pharmacies are closing due to government contracts not paying enough towards the cost of prescriptions. It is also clear that Brexit has impacted on the cost of importing drugs with costs rising dramatically. This has affected every community with people having to search out a local chemist to get the prescription form.
Pharmists need a fair deal from Government so they can stay open and provide imporant local healthcare.
