End the electricity postcode lottery

Households in Merseyside & North Wales are being forced to pay more for gas and electricity than any other part of the UK.
Analysis by the Liberal Democrats shows that a typical Liverpool family would pay £98 a year less for their energy if their home was in London. And you would save a massive £126 if you paid you bills in the North East.
Childwall Liberal Democrat councillor Pat Moloney said: “It is grossly unfair that Liverpool people are paying more based simply on where we live.”
“If the Government are serious about levelling up, they need to force energy companies to end this energy postcode lottery right now.”
